From noon to 2 p.m. Sunday burger enthusiasts did more than test the newest  restaurant in town. They helped raise money for Savannah's Organic Ranch.

The Habit Burger Grill, scheduled to open Dec. 7 in Aliso Viejo's Town Center, held two pre-opening charity events Sunday and will host a third Monday.

The company is donating 100 percent of the pre-opening profits to Savannah's Organic Ranch, Muscular Dystrophy Association and Share Our Strength.

From 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday all proceeds benefitted MDA.

Charities were selected because of their commitment to children and families in need.

Dine at the Habit Monday from noon to 2 p.m. to help raise money for Share Our Strength, a national organization working to end child hunger.
