AVCA To Walk Humans Through Dog Park
A walk through of Aliso Canyon Community Park will take place in a couple months.
Aliso Viejo's first dog park is still in the planning stage and is on the agenda for the Aliso Viejo Community Association's Feb. 13 meeting.
AVCA board members are taking time to review the scope of the project, according to AVCA President, Ross Chun. At Chun's suggestion, a walking workshop of Aliso Canyon Community Park (the proposed site for the dog park) will be scheduled at the meeting.
Residents are encouraged to attend the workshop to provide their suggestions and hopes for the park. The walking tour will take place in the next couple of months, Chun said.
There has been a desire for a dog park in Aliso Viejo for many years, but budgetary constraints left AVCA cautious about spending the money.
"We feel comfortable now in pursuing it," Chun said.
Chun hopes to build a solid plan to present to the Coastal Commission for quick approval.

This sounds wonderful. Hopefully, there will be a separate section available for small dogs to play.

It will be nice to have a dog park in Aliso. The workshop on site will be fun. It doesn't have to be fancy just safe for our four legged kids.
