Loud Bang and Flashlight Alert Resident

The following is a selection of calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from March 25 to March 29.

A resident said at the 24700 block of Via San Rafael they could see a flashlight and heard loud banging, possibly from someone trying to burglarize a neighbor’s home.

The call was made around 9:25 p.m., Friday.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 1:53 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block of Hulsea.

Battery. 11:57 a.m. Tuesday. San Bittern Lane.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 10:24 a.m. Tuesday. Pacific Park Drive and Alicia Parkway.

Terrorist threats report. 5:17 p.m. Monday. 0 block of Pamplona.

Burglary report. 1:36 p.m. Monday. 0 block of Pursuit.

Disturbance. 11:20 a.m. Sunday. Westridge Drive and Oak View Drive. A caller reported four kids playing with air soft guns after a pellet hit her.

Shots heard—no suspect information. 2:55 a.m. Sunday. 24700 block of Via San Rafael. A caller said they heard rapid popping sounds and tire screeching out on the street.

Vandalism in progress. 10:33 p.m. Saturday. 22500 block of Chase. A driver said he was driving near Pacific Park and Chase when someone threw an object at his door and denting it.

Disturbance. 8:38 p.m. Saturday. 0 block of Southern Hills Drive. A resident asked sheriff deputies to check for kids running around and ringing doorbells.

Petty theft. 3:21 p.m. Saturday. 26800 block of La Paz Road. A caller said someone stole her wallet out of a shopping cart.

Traffic accident-non injury. 11:55 p.m. Friday. Pacific Park Drive and Aliso Creek Road. A driver said the woman who rear-ended them was not aware that they collided or that their vehicles were attached to each other.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 10:25 a.m. Friday. Songbird Lane. A resident said that she found rat poison on her yard again.
