Protect Yourself from Identity Theft

Shred sensitive documents during the city's free shred day.

Protect yourself from identity theft at the free document-shredding event on May 19.

The event, which is sponsored by the city, invites residents and businesses to bring up to 10 standard file boxes of sensitive paperwork to be shredded on site.

The material may contain staples and paper clips, but no notebooks or binding may be shredded. Staff members will be on hand to answer questions about the growing concerns surrounding identity theft, according to a city press release.
