What makes Studio 53 unique?
Latham said Studio 53 focuses on client comfort and relaxation.

“When building, we took elements from many inspirations including what I would want if I were a client and kept in mind what clients have already asked for,” Latham said. “This is a modern salon with amenities in a semi-private and low key environment and talented stylists who can give you the hair you want.”

How long had Studio 53 served residents of Aliso Viejo?
The hair lounge opened in Dec. 2011. Prior to opening her own hair salon, Latham worked in Los Angeles and Orange County for 11 years.

Latham’s hair lounge goals:
“We hope our clients leave feeling beautiful and empowered with the right products and skills to look and feel beautiful everyday,” she said. “We have the latest and best tools and techniques to offer to our clients the best hair they have ever had, everyday.”

Favorite salon memory:
Latham said there are too many to pick just one, but the day she received the proper licensing to open her own salon is a day she’ll never forget.

“There are so many funny, heart touching and special memories,” she said. “It boils down to being a part of people's everyday lives and families. Receiving a phone call or email that a baby is born, an engagement has happened, a child's driver's license was earned, college acceptance letters were received and weddings are being planned. Being included in those are the greatest.”
