Got a Long Overdue Library Book? Here's a Chance to Clear Your Conscience

Orange County library patrons who have long overdue books are encouraged to participate in the library system's Amnesty Week.

Books can be brought in from Sept. 12 through Sept. 18, and returned without incurring fines.

“The most important goal of the amnesty program is to give library borrowers an opportunity to restore their full library borrowing privileges,” said County Librarian Helen Fried in a written statement.

Library branch locations can be found at www.ocpl.org.
