Capistrano Coast NCL Plans Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser In March

The Capistrano Coast Chapter of the National Charity League (NCL) is proud to announce its annual Fashion Show fundraiser to be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa in Dana Point.

The proceeds from the fundraiser help support the philanthropies of the Capistrano Coast Chapter of NCL such as after school programs, U.S. military support, food banks, and senior activities.  Funds are also earmarked for college scholarships given each spring to graduating seniors in need from our community.  In addition, the NCL mothers and daughters spend thousands of hours of their time serving these charities.

Last year, the event raised over $39,000.  This year the Fashion Show theme is “Shop ‘til You Drop – A Day in Support of Our Philanthropies!”  The models for the show will be the Chapter’s 11th grade members.  One of the most exciting raffles consists of a three prize drawing with the purchase of just one ticket.  Grand prize is three nights at the fabulous Fairmont San Francisco, along with a $1500 American Express gift card.  Second Prize is a $1000 South Coast Plaza gift card and third prize is a $500 Nordstrom gift card.  With only 1500 tickets being sold and three drawing opportunities, the odds of winning are high!  Please contact sfcara@me.com  if you would like to purchase a $20 raffle ticket for a chance to win.

A major sponsor of the event is Jewelry by Angelo in Laguna Niguel who has generously offered a beautiful diamond cuff and diamond pendant valued at $750 and $1400, respectively, for our Champagne & Diamonds Raffle.  Many other local businesses have generously donated items for over one hundred silent auction baskets.

National Charity League, Inc. is a mother/daughter organization dedicated to serving local philanthropies while fostering the mother/daughter relationship.  Mothers and daughters commit to a six year program, from 7th to 12th grade, centered on community service.  The members participate in philanthropic work, educational activities, leadership development, and cultural enrichment.
