The public is invited to meet its local firefighters and learn how to protect family and property during two community events in October.
The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) will host an open house in Aliso Viejo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 5 at 57 Journey, located just across the way from the Aliso Viejo Library.
Then on Saturday, October 12, folks are invited to OCFA's regional Open House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1 Fire Authority Road in Irvine. The event will include a host of activities and demonstrations for all ages and information about preventing kitchen fires and more.
