Why go: All ages can skate the afternoon away with raffles, giveaways and demos. Free food and drink from noon to 1 p.m. All skaters must fill out a waiver or have one on file at the skatepark. Helmet, elbow and kneepads required.

ANIMAL MAGIC

BABY AND ME HIKE
Where/When: Aliso & Wood Canyons Wilderness Park, Canyon View Staging Area, Gate 7, Aliso Viejo. Monday, June 20, 9 to 11 a.m.
Why go: Expectant women and mothers with babies in arms, packs or slings can enjoy a brisk 2-mile hike (400 ft elevation gain). Hike is not suitable for toddlers or strollers. Reservations required 949-923-2235.
Pricing: $2 donation, $3 per vehicle for parking.
