Grab 'n' Go: Snakes 101

ALISO VIEJO TENNIS
Where/When:  Ridgecrest Park, Aliso Creek Rd., Aliso Viejo. The next eight-week session starts Saturday, June 25.
Why go:  Adults and children can receive beginning, intermediate or advanced instruction.
Pricing:  $140 per person for Aliso Viejo residents; $145 for nonresidents. 

EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SNAKES
Where/When:  Crown Valley Community Park, View Room, 29751 Crown Valley Pkwy., Laguna Niguel.  Wednesday, June 22, at 7 p.m.
Why go:  Children 5 and older can learn about snake identification, habitat, safety and first-aid recommendations during a lecture and slide show—followed by live-snake exhibits.
Pricing:  Free

GREEK FESTIVAL
Where/When:  St Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church, 4949 Alton Pkwy., Irvine.  Friday, June 24, 5-10 p.m.,  Saturday, June 25, noon-10 p.m. and Sunday, June 26, noon-9 p.m.
Why go:  Enjoy Greek food and pastries, cooking demonstrations, Greek folk dancing lessons, games, carnival rides, church tours, boutique shopping and more.
Pricing:  Admission $3, free for children under 10 years old.  Free for seniors 65 and older on Saturday noon-5 p.m.

KIDS SUMMER BALLROOM DANCING
Where/When:  Londance, 27261 Unit J, La Paz Rd., Laguna Niguel.  Beginning June 25, Saturdays at 9 a.m. and Thursdays at 10 a.m.
Why go:  5- to 12-year-olds can receive ballroom dancing instruction.
Pricing:  $12 per class
