HALLOWEEN FAIR & HAUNTED HOUSE
Where/When: , 1 University Dr, Aliso Viejo; 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Why go: Bring your ghouls and goblins for this annual Halloween treat. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Proceeds benefit Soka student clubs.

HALLOWEEN CHILDREN'S SCAVENGER HUNT
Where/When:
18751 Laguna Canyon Rd, Laguna Beach; 9 a.m. Saturday.
Why go: Kids 5 and up are invited to look for things not so natural on a hike over steep and uneven terrain at Mary’s Trail and up Little Sycamore. Reservations are required. Sign up at lagunacanyon.org/activities.html.
Price: $2, parking $3

HALLOWEEN Z00-TACULAR
Where/When:
1 Irvine Park Rd, Orange; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Why go: Children 12 and under and their parents can enjoy Halloween activities including: trick-or-treating, spooky crafts, a scavenger hunt and face painting. The first 100 children in costume will receive a free gift. Come see the zoo animals receive treat-filled pumpkins!

FALL FEST
Where/When:
Verizon Amphitheater, 8808 Irvine Center Dr, Irvine; 5 to 9 p.m. Monday.
Why go: For the past 5 years Compass Bible Church has hosted Fall Fest on Halloween night. This event is free for families. Enjoy In-N-Out, hot dogs, snacks, rides, games and a literal ton of candy for kids of all ages.
