Movie Fridays at Grand Park: A Time Lapse
Friday kicked off the first night of the Aliso Viejo Community Association's summer movie nights in Grand Park.
More than a thousand people lugged their beach chairs, blankets, snacks and towels to Grand Park watch a community presentation of Wreck-It Ralph on Friday.
Kids played, got their faces painted and even had the chance to win DVDs during a small raffle that took place before the film. The event is planned for nearly every other Friday through Aug. 23.
The next film to be shown will be Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted on Friday, Aug. 2, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Rise of the Guardians will be shown on Friday, Aug. 16 and the last film to be shown in the series will be Mary Poppins on Aug. 23.
