Aliso Viejo Finalist for High-Tech Innovation Awards

An Aliso Viejo firm has been named a finalist in this year's High-Tech Innovation Awards by the O.C. Tech Alliance.

Corent was named for its SurPaaS Software Delivery Platform, which serves businesses by hosting software on the cloud.

"We are honored to have been selected as a finalist in this year's awards," said Corent CEO Feyzi Fatehi in a statement. Attempts to reach Fatehi by phone were unsuccessful.

Sigmund Fidyke III is the committee chair for the awards. He said Corent is one of "many noteworthy companies" in Orange County "that continue to influence technology development throughout the rest of the world."

The nominated service is currently used by such companies as Boeing the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which produces the Emmys.

The Corent SaaS Enablement Platform was named the "2012 Cloud Product of the Year" at TechAmerica’s 19th Annual High-tech Innovations Awards.
