“I just love my company. I know all of the people here. This company just grew out of the back seat of a car,” said Dunlop, CEO of Ambry Genetics a company that was built by scientists, genetic counselors and physicians to provide high quality research and development in the genetics industry. They also focus on the well being of their patient community, supporting the Mauli Ola Foundation—a non-profit organization that uses the benefits of surfing to help children with cystic fibrosis, autism and other genetic diseases.

The semi-finalists were selected from a group of 70 nominees. The regional finalists will be announced during a gala in Laguna Niguel on June 7. The winners will then be considered for the Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur of the Year Program.
