Del Taco Offering 29-Cent Tacos, Rolls Out New Restaurant Prototype

The Lake Forest-based restaurant chain is undergoing a makeover and selling tacos for pennies.

Del Taco, the ubiquitous Mexican fast-food chain headquartered in Lake Forest, is giving its customers a big "thank you" today by selling its regular tacos for 29 cents.

The discount, on crunchy or soft regular beef tacos from from 3 to 8 p.m., is limited to 12 per customer at certain locations.

The Del Taco restaurant in Aliso Viejo is participating in the deal. Del Taco is located in Town Center at 26951 Aliso Creek Road
