A Hotel for Business in Aliso Viejo?

Encore Suites business partners help big and small business owners grow their companies.

The 65 offices within the Encore Offices in Aliso Viejo, which are regularly filled to 100 percent capacity, are home to a range of businesses.

From one-person “home grown” businesses to Fortune 500 industries that telecommute from the office, Encore Executive Suites and Business Center owner, Deb Walls, and Diane Kampner, vice president of sales and marketing, said they always see something new in the works with their clients.

“A 150 square foot office could represent one whole company,” Kampner said.

Walls and Kampner have worked together for 20 years. Together they operated six business suites locations and were in charge of the sales, marketing and leasing.

After selling their Los Angeles locations, the two women stayed up to date within the industry as consultants. When the economy began to make a recovery, Walls and Kampner decided it was time to make their encore. This time in their own neighborhood of South Orange County.

Walls said they were looking for a “zero commute” situation…very different from the Los Angeles business lifestyle they were accustom to.  Walls began driving around the county looking for a bedroom community that was nicely isolated from the busy I-5 Freeway.

Kampner said 90 percent of their clients live in Aliso Viejo, making their commute just a short drive, walk or bike ride away.

While Encore is currently and often 100 percent occupied offices regularly become available because of the short term leasing options. Regular leases run between 90 days to three years with a monthly rent of approximately $700-$2,000. A virtual office program is also available, which offers clients a prestigious mailing address, phone and conference room access.

Walls and Kampner work on property, on the same floor as their clients, which they think makes a difference in the business.

“We’re a small business ourselves and I think that helps us relate to our clients,” Walls said.

With a passion for business and professional know-how, Walls and Kampner are hoping to open three to five more office buildings around South Orange County.
