Free Mammograms Today for Uninsured Women

Uninsured women over the age of 40 are encouraged to get a free mammogram Saturday at the Iglesia Park Community Center. Flu shots will also be given for $25.99.

The city of Aliso Viejo is urging women over the age of 40 to take advantage of free mammogram screenings today.

The no cost mammogram screenings are being held today from 8 a.m. to noon at Iglesia Park Community Center located at 24671 Via Iglesia. Kelly Tokarski, city spokeswoman, says women over the age of 40, who don't have insurance and have not been screened within the past year are eligible for a free mammogram.

Women who are interested in the service are asked to bring a driver's license to the screening.
