After four years and countless memories gleaned from the triumphs and tribulations of the teenage years, the graduates of Aliso Niguel crossed over from students to alumni Tuesday evening at the school’s football stadium.
After the speeches, the words of encouragement, and the naming of every graduating senior in the Class of 2013, they flipped their tassels from right to left and did the customary flinging of their caps into the air as thousands looked on and cheered.
Hugs and smiles unabashed joy followed. One long, important journey in their lives had ended.
