Rain Storm May 'Take Aim' at Thanksgiving

A low pressure system may "take aim" at Orange County on Thanksgiving.

On the heels of the cold storm this weekend, National Weather Service forecasters predict a chilly, and possibly wet Thanksgiving.

"Southern California may once again see more wet weather for the holiday, or the brunt of [the storm] may go to our south," Weather Service meteorologists said. "For now, the threat of unsettled and cooler weather remains."

Until then, however, expect dry and cool weather with highs in the high 50s to mid 60s and lows in the low 50s, the Weather Service said.

Wednesday is forecast to be the warmest day of the week with a daytime temperature of 65 degrees.

There's a 40 percent chance of rain Thursday, then a high pressure system will bring fair and warmer weather, and possibly light wind, to Orange County on Friday through the weekend, Weather Service meteorologists said.
