Eagle Scout Court of Honor

Boy Scout Troop 726 from Aliso Viejo, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, will honor five of its scouts who have earned the prestigious Eagle Scout rank on June 17, 2010.  The boys who will be honored have advanced together in scouting, school, and in life for more than a decade. Landen Ashdown, John Calkins, Kory Johnson, Hayden Monarch, and Adam Ostergar all attend Aliso Niguel High School, are active in school athletics and leadership, and attend the same church. Landen's Eagle Project was completed at Laura's House where he built critically needed additional storage space for  the woman's shelter. John built a new scorers table for his water polo team and the swim department at the high school. Kory completed a mobile reading station that is used by the Aliso Viejo Library for its summer reading programs. Hayden built three mobile podiums that are used by his congregation each Sunday. Adam organized the production of hundreds of duffle bags used by Orangewood Children's Home for children placed in their care. The ceremony will be held at 26895 Aliso Creek Road, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656 at 6pm. Family, Friends, Teachers, Coaches, and the Community Leaders are invited to join the ceremony and celebration.
