Sokar Wash Fundraiser for Alternative Spring Break Project

This car wash will raise funds for the Alternative Spring Break Project. Instead of vacationing at a resort, students spend their spring break volunteering their time to serve others. This year students will go to Braddock, Pa., a town that has been hit hard by the decline of the steel industry. Soka students will join with students from the University of Pittsburgh to do landscaping and farming projects, clean and restore the town’s Carnegie Library, and work with young people at the Boys and Girls Club.
