Pres. Obama Honors Aliso Viejo Businesswoman Today

A veteran, cryptologist Martha Daniel founded a company specializing in cybersecurity, among other things.

The founder, president and CEO of an Aliso Viejo-based cybersecurity, technology and engineering firm was among 10 women veterans industry leaders honored at the White House today as "Champions of Change."

Martha Daniel founded Information Management Resources Inc. in 1992 to provide technical support for the financial industry. The firm now delivers comprehensive technical and engineering support services specializing in cybersecurity, data center operations and consolidations, program management and telecommunications for the federal government,civilian agencies and the private sector.

Before founding IMRI, Daniel was a cryptologist for the U.S. Navy and worked for such firms as Aerojet General, Bekins Transportation, ARCO and IBM.

The Champions of Change program was created by the Obama administration as an opportunity for the White House to feature individuals, businesses and organizations doing extraordinary things to empower and inspire members of their communities.
