Relay for Life of Mission Viejo Serves Up Tennis Tournament- Margot Ferron

If you love tennis and you want to be part a worthy cause, Rally for Life is for you.  It is the perfect time to enjoy the spring weather and to support a great cause in our community.  The event will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Mission Viejo. 

Relay for Life of Mission Viejo is hosting its 6th Rally for Life Tennis Tournament on Sun., March 2 at 9 am at the Tennis Pavilion at the Marguerite Recreation Center, 27474 Casta del Sol, MV, 92691.

Participants will compete in a round-robin doubles style tournament that will include lunch, silent auction and games.  All players will receive a gift and the top two winners will win more than $1,000 in prizes.

Registration fees are tax deductible.   For one person the fee is $30 and for doubles team it is $55.  The deadline to register is Feb. 25, 2014.  If you don’t have a doubles partner don’t worry, the tournament committee can find you a partner.

Relay for Life promotes cancer awareness throughout the year and holds numerous fundraisers.   Look for the Chili Cook-off on March 15, Zumba on Feb. 22, Yard Sale for a Cause on March 22, Youth Glow Dance For a Cure, April 4 and Roaring 20s Dinner/Dance May 21, 2014.
