The prosecution's side of the courtroom was filled with supporters of a man who was stabbed outside a college party in Orange County. Opening statements were heard in the attempted murder trial against his attacker, a former basketball player Abdullah Wahidi. Andre Murillo, a former Concordia student, and Mr.Wahidi broke into a fight outside a house party in Irvine in 2009 after a dispute arose among the two men. Surrounded by peers of Murillo, Wahidi felt he had no choice, but to act in self defense by puncturing Murillo in the chest. In result, Abdullah Wahidi is facing a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon and attempt of murder against Andre Murillo. Mr. Wahidi would have consent to serving 6 months in prison as initially sentenced, but the District Attorney managed to withdraw the offer. He is currently being sentenced outrageous time in prison
JUSTICE IS NOT BEING SERVED FOR ABDULLAH WAHIDI. WE ASK ALL TO COMMENT AND REVIEW THIS CASE. MURILLO AND HIS PARENTS WANT TO MAKE SURE MR. WAHIDI RECEIVES OUTRAGEOUS IN PRISON BUT REMEMBER AS THE CONSTITUTION AND THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE STATES "LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL"
