Aliso Viejo Woman Dies in Single-Car Crash
The accident occurred late Friday afternoon on Laguna Canyon Road. A cause has yet to be determined.
An Aliso Viejo woman was killed Friday afternoon when her car veered off an embankment of the inbound lanes of Laguna Canyon Road about one and a half miles north of the 73 toll road.
The woman has been identified as Sann King, 58, from Aliso Viejo. She was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy was pending Saturday.
King was alone at the wheel of her Mercedes-Benz at 3:52 p.m. when it went off the road and rolled over multiple times, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department. The cause of the accident isn't yet known, but speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.

Traffic was backed up on Canyon Road heading into Laguna Beach for several hours, prompting the city to issue a traffic alert.
