Hatchets and Kung-fu Fighters
Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Sept. 14-18.
Everybody was kung-fu fighting, according to a report from Pacific Park Drive and Aliso Creek Road on Sunday night. The caller said she could hear men yelling and kung-fu fighting on the street.
The incident occurred at 9:22 p.m.

Suspicious dudes. 12:28 a.m. Tuesday. 24100 block Hollyoak. A caller asked deputies to check for three males who were connecting a trailer to a truck, saying they appeared suspicious and clueless about how to hook it up.
Creepy kids. 12:49 a.m. Tuesday. Bramble and Laurel lanes. A caller reported creepy-looking kids walking between buildings, looking for an unknown address.

Amplified neighbors. 7:41 p.m. Monday. 1300 block City Lights Drive. A resident said someone from another unit was talking into a microphone.
Hatchet job. 12:49 a.m. Monday. 0 block Theater Lane. A resident said a man and two women outside his home threw something through his window, shattering it. He also said they had a hatchet.
Patrol check. 3:16 a.m. Sunday. 100 block Abbeywood Lane. A resident asked deputies to check for a group of kids to make sure they weren't harrassing anyone electronically.
Disturbance. 5:23 p.m. Saturday. Pacific Park Drive and Aliso Creek Road. A man with a goatee, backwards cap, white tanktop and gray shorts was cursing at people.
Suspicious person. 5:45 a.m. Saturday. 0 block Carlsbad Lane. A caller detained a suspect after seeing him rummaging through his car.
More fighting. 11:33 p.m. Friday. 0 block of Titian. A group of men were seen fighting, and one was down on the ground.
Juvenile delinquents. 6:30 a.m. Friday. 0 block Abbeywood Lane. A resident asked deputies to check for a group of kids smoking and "putting stuff up" their noses near an electrical box.
