Resident Reports Possible Mail Thief
A selection of calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Nov. 15-16.
A resident, calling from the intersection of Larkspur Drive and Skylark Drive, asked sheriff deputies to check for a man driving a silver Mitsubishi sedan with tinted windows that was stopping near mailboxes, possibly taking mail and other items out.
The call was made around 5:51 p.m. Wednesday.

Disturbance. 4:14 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block of Bravo Lane. A caller said a 13-year-old boy came knocking on their door saying he was being chased by two other men and that he was afraid to leave.
Suspicious person in vehicle. 11:26 a.m. Wednesday. Aliso Creek Road and Summerfield. A caller said a man driving a gray Chevrolet four-door was following them. Upon coming to a stop, the man got out of the car and started pounding on the caller's window.

Unknown trouble. 12:03 a.m. Wednesday. 0 block of Kaitlyn Court. A resident said she heard an extension ladder go up, followed by the sound of breaking glass near the location.
Disturbance. 4:15 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block of Woodcrest Lane. A caller said a person was shooting pellets at a stop sign from an upstairs location with a pellet gun, which also hit them.
Suspicious person in vehicle. 2:16 a.m. Tuesday. 0 block of Pacific Grove Drive. A resident said two men riding in a dark colored SUV show up almost every night to smoke drugs and leave trash all over the street.
