Woman Stuck As Food Burns

Alarm-o-rama. 12:15 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block of Kerrwood. A caller reported a white Chevrolet Astro van after hearing its alarm go off over multiple days.

Plant poacher. 9:24 a.m. Tuesday. 0 block of Enterprise. A caller wanted to know how to file a restraining order against a neighbor who allegedly took a plant from the caller's porch.

Paint protection request. 9:01 p.m. Monday. 27600 block Aliso Creek Road. A resident asked deputies for assistance after having an argument with a neighbor. The caller was worried the neighbor might key his car.

Cooking emergency. 8:20 p.m. Monday. 0 block Glittering Sky. A woman told firefighters her room's door jammed, keeping her stuck while the food she had on the stove burned.

Burning balloons. 6:17 p.m. Sunday. Via Carisma and Wimbledon Lane. A resident said people at a nearby block party were lighting helium-filled balloons on fire.

Oily man report. 2:07 p.m. Sunday. Aliso Creek Road and Aliso Viejo Parkway. A caller said a man in his 20s, dressed in black with oil all over his face, was inside his car more than 15 minutes beside a gas station pump.

Hostage situation? 6:57 p.m. Saturday. 200 block Sandcastle. A caller reported that the neighbor's children said their family was being held inside a home.

Battery. 1:11 p.m. Saturday. 26300 block Cedarbrook. A man in his 40s wearing a tan fishing hat and gray shorts was seen punching another man in the face.

Kick-and-run. 10:49 p.m. Friday. 0 block Spicewood. A caller told deputies people ran toward a nearby park after kicking a girl.

Suspicious clothing. 1:53 p.m. Friday. Aliso Creek Road and Pacific Park Drive. A man wearing a heavily padded, hooded jacket and black pants raised suspicion after he was seen walking around on "a very hot day."
