91-Year-Old Arrested After Traffic Accident

Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Feb. 7-10.

Deputies responding to a traffic accident at Aliso Viejo Parkway and Moulton Parkway arrested a 91-year-old man and took him into custody at Orange County Jail with no bail set.

Police responded to the call around 9:40 p.m. on Thursday.

Disturbance-mechanical. 3:43 a.m. Friday. 100 block Montara Drive.

Pedestrian check. 10:41 p.m. Thursday. 26800 block Aliso Creek Road. A 21-year-old man was arrested during a pedestrian check and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail on $20,000 bail.

Welfare check. 10:27 a.m. Wednesday. Aliso Creek Road and Pacific Park Drive. A caller asked deputies to check for two kids in their car seats that were all by themselves.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 8:16 a.m. Wednesday. 0 block Orion.  A caller reported a man and a woman driving around a nearby school in a gray truck.

Disturbance. 9:55 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block Indigo Place. A resident said their next-door neighbor has a short temper, adding that they heard at least 15 doors slammed.

Disturbance. 4:27 p.m. Tuesday. Hollyoak and Alicia Parkway.  A caller said her 43-year-old daughter attempted to jump out off her Toyota Pruis with an intent to hurt herself.
