Blotter: Drunken Skateboarder, Condoms and Booze

The following is a selection of calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from April 5 to April 8.

Burglary alarm—audible. 1:04 p.m. Friday. 0 block of Journey.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 11:31 a.m. Friday. 0 block of Sobrante.

Burglary alarm—audible. 7:47 a.m. Friday. 0 block of Shorecliff.

Drunk in public. 9:57 p.m. Thursday. 100 block of Trofello Lane.  A caller said a man was going around slamming his skateboard on garages and screaming before lying down on the skateboard in the middle of the street.

Suspicious vehicle. 11:58 p.m. Thursday. Eastwind and Amber. A caller said a dark-colored truck had been parked for over an hour and appeared to have someone inside moving around.

Vandalism report. 2:37 p.m. Thursday. Laurelwood Street and Wood Canyon Drive. A caller said there was gang-related-graffiti on a wall inside the complex.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 3:05 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block of Fulmar Lane. A caller said a group of boys were surfing down a hillside, tearing bushes and grass.

Unknown trouble. 2:07 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block of Fuchsia Place. A caller said his wife called him and said a pipe exploded—possibly a gas explosion—inside the complex.

Stolen vehicle. 11:24 a.m. Wednesday. 0 block of Journey. A caller said their vehicle was stolen after being parked up the street.

Shots heard. 10:27 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block of Willow Wind. A resident asked sheriff's deputies to check a business area nearby after hearing a gunshot.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 10:17 p.m. Tuesday. Laurelmont and Alicia Parkway. A resident reported a man and a woman who were loitering near where empty alcohol containers and condoms had been left.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 6:04 p.m. Tuesday. El Toro Road and Aliso Creek Road. A caller asked sheriff's deputies to check for a group of men walking on the wilderness trail, as one of them had tape on his mouth and his hands tied.
