Blotter—Man Smashes Sedan into Several Parked Cars on Via Iglesia

Find out what police responded to this week in Aliso Viejo.

A man in a white sedan reportedly smashed his white sedan into several parked vehicles on Via Iglesia early Wednesday morning. No arrest was made.

According to a caller, the driver got stuck when the call was made at 12:59 a.m. He appeared to be trying to leave. It was too dark for the informant to give police any more information.

8:18 p.m. Citizen assist, 0 block Pursuit: Someone saw a dog locked inside a black Mercedes at the parking lot of a guard shack.

7:32 p.m. Assist outside agency, 24100 block Hollyoak: A woman being taken to Saddleback Hospital was believed to have taken too many sleeping pills.

4:30 p.m. Suspicious person/circumstances, 0 block Peppertree: Two men in a red Mustang followed two children home and waved at them.

1:59 p.m. Suspicious vehicle, Laurelmont/Hollyoak: A man left his tow truck parked for two hours with a vehicle in tow. The caller said this was an ongoing issue, and was concerned about children climbing on the flatbed and into the towed vehicles with open windows.

1:52 p.m. Grand theft, Aliso Creek Road/Pacific Park Drive: A violent was reported stolen.
