Caller Reports Big Rig Honking At People

A selection of calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Sept. 2-6.

A caller asked sheriff deputies to check for a "semi truck" that was honking its horns and startling people near the intersection of Alicia Parkway and Pacific Park Drive.

The caller also said the stunt was being filmed by people riding in a black Scion and a white Toyota.

The call was made around 1:15 p.m. Saturday.

Petty theft report. 1:56 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block of Journey.

Vandalism in progress. 7:48 a.m. Tuesday. 24700 block of Via San Rafael. 

Disturbance. 9:46 p.m. Monday. Stonebrook and Westwing. A caller asked sheriff deputies to check for 20 kids loitering near the area, possibly getting ready to fight.

Unknown trouble. 6:07 p.m. Sunday. 0 block of Enterprise. A caller said they heard a gunshot and a woman scream "I’ve been shot!"

Suspicious person/circumstances. 2:08 a.m. Sunday. 22700 block of Pacific Park Drive. A resident reporting suspicious activity said two men keep going in and out of the building—one was vomiting near the unit.

Disturbance. 3:10 a.m. Saturday. 4300 block of City Lights Drive. A resident asked sheriff deputies to check for a man who was talking loudly and screaming in "a not fun way" for a few hours.

Disturbance-auto involved. 9:37 p.m. Friday. 0 block of Midtown Drive. A caller asked sheriff deputies to check for a blue Subaru with gold rims that was speeding up and down a nearby parking structure.

Keep the peace. 4:32 p.m. Friday. 23500 block of Los Adornos. A resident asked sheriff deputies to moderate a dispute over a tenant and her landlord who keeps locking her out.
