Caller Reports Boys With BB Guns

Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Jan. 3-6.

A caller said two kids with BB guns were walking on a the trail adjacent to Westwing and Aliso Creek Road.  Deputies responding to the incident found the two boys and spoke with their parents, according to Orange County Sheriff's Department Lt. Jim England.

It is unknown whether the two boys were cited, but according to an OCSD officer, county law prohibits the use of BB guns outside private property.

The brandishing a weapon call was made around 3:29 p.m. Thursday.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:11 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block Saddleridge. A caller said kids were messing with mail boxes around the neighborhood.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 10:29 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block Briarglenn. A resident reported a man dressed in black who was shining a flashlight on the caller's complex as he walked around.

Citizen assist. 3:49 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block Journey.  A caller told deputies that they believe someone is intercepting their phone calls.
