Bags of Booze and Outdoor Sex

Sheriff's Blotter: Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Aug. 24-28.

A caller asked deputies to check for a man in his 30s, accompanied by a white dog and carrying bags of booze and propane tanks, who pitched a tent in the brush near the 25100 block of Hummingbird Lane. The suspicious person report was made at 10:21 a.m. Saturday.

Public sex. 2:58 a.m. Tuesday. 23400 block Via Jacinto. A caller asked deputies to check for a couple having noisy sex on a grassy patch by some garages.

Joy riders. 9:53 p.m. Monday. 26200 block Wood Canyon Drive. A caller reported kids joyriding in a late-model Dodge Challenger, with some sitting on the car's hood while it was in motion.

Nude swimmers. 2:27 a.m. Monday. 2500 block of City Lights Drive. A resident said four subjects were skinny-dipping in the community pool.

TP patrol. 11:43 p.m. Sunday. 0 block Lyon Ridge. A resident asked officers to check the area because his home had been toilet-papered three times that evening.

Suspicious vehicle. 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Aliso Creek Road and Pacific Park Drive. A caller reported two men driving around the area in a white Ford van with expired Florida military plates.

Masked shoppers. 7:59 p.m. Saturday. Aliso Creek Road and Pacific Park Drive. A caller asked deputies to check for two people who were walking around the plaza wearing suits and masks.

Suspicious vehicle. 12:15 a.m. Saturday. Aliso Viejo Parkway and Enterprise. A caller asked deputies to check into a black Toyota Rav4 that was draped with curtains and parked near a local bagel shop.

Assault in a Camaro. 8:19 p.m. Friday. Laurelmont and Hollyoak. A caller said a woman in an older model white convertible Chevrolet Camaro was screaming for help as a man in the car bashed her head into the window.

Grand theft. 1:56 p.m. Friday. 23300 block Via San Pablo. A caller said someone stole their blue handicapped scooter from Vons in Laguna Woods.
