Callers Report Aggressive Solicitors

A selection of calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Nov. 1 - 4.

A caller asked sheriff deputies to check for two people with petitions who were aggressively soliciting to customers outside Target.  A second phone call reporting the same subjects was made approximately an hour later.

The initial report was made around 11:58 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of La Paz Road and Pacific Park Drive.

Vandalism report. 8:05 a.m. Friday. 27800 block of Aliso Creek Road.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 6:16 a.m. Friday. 0 block of Parkwood.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 11:50 p.m. Thursday. 100 block of Cinnamon Teal.

Battery report. 7:24 a.m. Thursday. 0 block of Deerborn Drive. A 16-year-old girl said her brother gave her a bloody nose the previous night.

Disturbance. 6:09 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block of Ovation Lane. A father reported his son to deputies after he threatened to stab him then ran off.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 4:09 p.m. Wednesday. Aliso Viejo Parkway and Vantis. A caller said a man and woman riding in a silver Ford Focus were loitering on the fifth floor of a nearby parking structure, smoking marijuana.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 10:53 p.m. Tuesday. 27600 block of Aliso Creek Road. A caller asked sheriff deputies to check for a woman in her 20s that was loitering outside her home, making her nervous.

Disturbance. 6:40 a.m. Tuesday. 0 block of Whippoorwill Lane. A caller said his ex-girlfriend was knocking and kicking at his door trying to get in.
