Police are investigating the theft of three computers from the middle school.

Three Mac computers and an LCD projector from Don Juan Avila Middle School were stolen while the school was empty for the weekend.

Police are investigating the Feb. 13 break-in, according to Principal Josh Wellikson. Along with the theft the school experienced slight vandalism, but no heavy damage. The computers were taken from three different classrooms.

Wellikson, who is in his first year as principal and sixth year with the school, said it has been a long time since the last break-in.
