Closed Store Makes Man Go Bonkers
Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Dec. 23-27.
A store employee working at a business near the 26900 block of Aliso Creek Road said a man driving a white Volkswagen Jetta banged on the door and threatened to get a gun and shoot him if he didn't open the store, which was closed.
The threat report was made around 12:04 a.m. Sunday.

Welfare check. 3:00 p.m. Monday. El Toro Road and Aliso Creek Road. A caller asked deputies to check for two kids under age 5 who crossed the road on a skateboard and tricycle.
Disturbance. 7:53 p.m. Sunday. 24800 block Via San Rafael. A caller asked deputies to check for kids running around trying to break car windows.
Suspicious person in vehicle. 6:14 p.m. Sunday. 0 block Enterprise. A caller asked deputies to check for a woman talking to herself inside a burgundy sedan. Another call was made regarding the same person on Monday around 11 a.m.
Suspicious person in vehicle. 11:30 p.m. Saturday. 100 block Roadrunner Lane. A caller asked deputies to check for a white coupe with tinted windows near the guest parking spots after the informant saw lighters flickering inside.
Disturbance. 9:48 p.m. Friday. 23400 block El Reposa. A caller said multiple subjects broke bottles inside a residence and were running around the area.
Citizen assist. 7:28 p.m. Friday. 100 block Trofello Lane. A caller asked deputies to check for a man who loiters in front of her home and harasses her dogs.
Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:09 p.m. Friday. 27400 block Aliso Creek Road. A caller said two men sitting on the back of truck were acting as if they were waiting for someone to exit the building.
