Drive By Pellet Gun Shooting on Wood Vista Way

A woman told police she was shot in her vehicle by a man with a pellet gun driving a minivan near the Wood Vista/Canyon Vistas intersection Wednesday night around 10 p.m.

The woman was driving away from Town Center, heading toward Wood Canyon when the man in dark clothes drove by and shot her, according to the blotter.

Police received a related call when someone heard men discuss loading a gun and shooting a car. The man was seen entering a dark, small, older four-door vehicle, according to a witness.

No arrest was recorded in either incident.

Phone messages left with Aliso Viejo Police Services were not immediately returned.
