DUI Roving Patrols Today in Aliso Viejo
The goal of the multi-city patrol program is to reduce death, injury and property damage in Orange County Sheriff's Department contract cities.
In an effort to reduce DUI-related death and injury, the Orange County Sheriff's Department will be conducting DUI roving patrols in Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel and Laguna Woods today.
The DUI patrol teams will focus on areas that have a "high incidence of DUI-related arrests and collisions."
A grant, provided by the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, funds the program.
