Man Arrested for Allegedly Fondling Girl

Deputies arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of fondling a 6-year-old girl at a park in Aliso Viejo, a sheriff's investigator said today.

German Bravo DeJesus of Lake Forest allegedly approached the girl, who was with her parents at Grand Park, near Aliso Viejo Parkway and Pacific Park, about 8:15 p.m. Friday and began talking to her. At some point during the conversation, DeJesus allegedly began to fondle her, said Orange County Sheriff's Investigator Dan Salcedo.

The girl told her parents and the suspect fled the area on a bicycle. Deputies were called to the scene and located the suspect, who was positively identified as DeJesus. He was taken into custody and booked on suspicion of child molestation, Salcedo said. He has no previous sex-crime arrests, Salcedo said.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's website, no bail has been set and DeJesus is expected to be in Central Jail Court on Tuesday.
