Man Asks For Help Getting Out Of Trunk

Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Aug.14-17.

Emergency dispatch received a call from someone near the 23300 block of Via Jacinto and heard a man in the background yelling for someone to help him get out of a car's trunk.

Dispatch added that another male subject was heard asking if it was joke, before hearing grunting sounds.

The 9-1-1 hang-up wireless report was made at 1:37 p.m. Sunday.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 2:55 a.m. Tuesday. 0 block Royal Tern Lane. A caller said two male subjects, riding in a white van, were possibly checking for open vehicle doors after hearing a car alarm go off.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 10:36 p.m. Monday. 23400 block Summerfield. A resident said a male neighbor in his 40s was yelling at him and his wife and taking photogrpahs of them while looking into their windows.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:30 a.m. Monday. Aliso Creek Road and Pacific Park Drive. A caller said a man in his 20s with a long ponytail was climbing through the bushes and yelling at passersby.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:34 p.m. Sunday. 8100 block City Lights Drive. A resident said a male subject in his 30s with dark hair and wearing a burgundy shirt attempted to open her door before running away after she yelled at him.

Disturbance. 3:02 p.m. Sunday. Aliso Creek Road and Glenwood Drive. A cyclist said someone riding in a dark gray Jeep Cherokee threw a beer can at him.

Disturbance. 8:22 p.m. Saturday. 26800 block La Paz Road. A caller asked deputies to check for two male subjects drinking alcohol behind Massage Envy.

Assist outside agency. 12:00 a.m. Saturday. 26900 block Aliso Creek Road. An employee said someone who claimed to be in the Secret Service tried to pay with a fake $100 bill and upon being questioned wanted it back.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 8:20 p.m. Friday. 0 block Sandcastle. A caller said they could hear a little girl in distress in the community pool, asking someone who appeared to be an adult to leave her alone.

Illegal parked vehicle. 9:25 a.m. Friday. Peppertree and Sprucewood. A caller asked deputies to check into "hundreds of parked vehicles," which according to the caller were blocking the street sweeper's route.
