Sudafed Nut Threatens to Shoot Up Store

Plus: loud roller skaters, Russian solar salesmen and clown-haired drivers. Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Sept. 21-25.

A man who was upset because he couldn't get Sudafed threatened to go home, grab his guns, come back and shoot everyone in a store early Tuesday, according to Aliso Viejo crime logs. The man was reportedly in his late 30s, blond and balding in the back with a military-type haircut.

He left the plaza in the 26800 block of Aliso Creek Road in a large white four-door truck.

Obnoxious roller skater. Midnight Tuesday. 0 block Willowood. A caller said a woman was roller skating outside and causing a lot of noise.

Overstayed welcome. 11:38 p.m. Monday. 200 block Cinnamon Teal. A caller asked deputies to help remove a drug-addled man from her home who had been invited to stay the night by her mother.

Phony cable guy. 3:27 p.m. Monday. 0 block Monstad Street. A resident asked deputies to check for a man who claimed to be with Cox Communications but lacked a uniform, ID or company vehicle.

Unwelcome whistling. 7:36 p.m. Sunday. 0 block Merlin Avenue. A caller said a man at a park was whistling at her, which made her uncomfortable.

Customer not always right. 3:09 p.m. Sunday. 26700 block of Aliso Creek Rd. A store employee said a woman in her late teens with blonde, shoulder-length hair threatened to punch the employee over an issue with a refund.

Soviet solar guy. 12:04 p.m. Saturday. 0 block Roundtree Court. A caller reported a man with a Russian accent who was selling solar panels and refusing to show his ID.

Burglary in progress. 4:41 a.m. Saturday. 0 block Collingwood. A resident said he found his back door open and his home ransacked.

Evil clown-haired driver. 6:38 p.m. Friday. Aliso Creek Road and Pacific Park Drive. A man with orange hair and a chubby face reportedly used a tan sedan to chase two boys out of a nearby parking structure and attempt to run them over.
