Man Takes Pictures of Boy at Pool, Drives Off When Confronted

Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Feb. 14-17.

A caller from the 100 block of Cinnamon Teal said a man in his 40s with black and gray hair, wearing a black leather jacket and jeans, was taking pictures of a 16-year-old boy in the pool area. The caller said the man drove off in a white Chevrolet Malibu when he was confronted.

The suspicious person report was made 10:10 a.m. Wednesday.

Disturbance. 8:25 p.m. Thursday. 0 block Abbeywood Lane.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 2:17 p.m. Thursday. 26900 block La Paz Road. A caller asked deputies to check for an old body style blue Ford Explorer that was occupied by a sweaty, shirtless man in his 50s who was watching people as they walked by.

Reckless driving. 12:26 p.m. Wednesday. Aliso Creek Road and Aliso Viejo Parkway. A caller said the driver of a black Ford Taurus kept falling asleep behind the wheel and would only move when people honked at him.

Disturbance-music or party. 1:29 a.m. Wednesday. 2300 block City Lights Drive. A resident said her neighbor who plays music all night was also stomping on the floor.

Traffic hazard. 9:47 p.m. Tuesday. Pacific Park Drive and Alicia Parkway. A caller asked deputies to check for a "big" trash can in the road.

Illegal peddling. 4:23 p.m. Tuesday. 0 block Oak View Drive. A resident said a man, wearing a black leather jacket, who was going door-to-door selling things was making too many gestures, possibly in an attempt to distract her and do something "sneaky."
