Police Blotter: 'The Scariest Thing Would Be Me With A Gun'

Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, April 17-20.

A caller said a man in his mid-40s who asked for directions came back and asked them what is the scariest thing they could think of? The man who was wearing a blue hat, red sweatshirt and gray sweatpants then said "the scariest thing would be me with a gun."

The suspicious person report was made 10:03 a.m. Thursday near the 24500 block of Aliso Creek Road.

Traffic accident-non injury. 9:25 a.m. Friday. 23400 block Aliso Creek Road.

Burglary alarm-audible. 4:42 a.m. Friday. 0 block Enterprise.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:12 p.m. Thursday. Via Iglesia and Via San Martine. A caller asked deputies to check for a group of 20 possible gang members who were standing in a circle at a nearby alley way.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 2:22 a.m. Thursday. 0 block Oak View Drive. A resident asked deputies to check for a shirtless man laying in the street who then got up and ran down the street into a parked car.

Disturbance. 6:07 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block Woodcrest Lane.  A caller said a man in his mid-40s with a heavy build was yelling at kids playing in the common area of the apartment complex.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 4:09 a.m. Wednesday. Briarglenn and Aliso Viejo Parkway.  A caller said they heard a man's voice, followed by groaning echo from a nearby park.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:59 p.m. Tuesday. Aliso Creek Road and Glenwood Drive. A caller asked deputies to check for kids running around and yelling in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints parking lot.

Investigate person down. 4:17 p.m. Tuesday. Pacific Park Drive and Aliso Creek Road. A caller said a man walking his bike while possibly under the influence of alcohol stumbled and fell, and didn't get back up.
