Masked Driver Throws Cat Food, Pushes Resident

Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, June 22-26.

A resident from the 0 block of Vermilion Cliffs who was hosting her graduation party said a masked driver yelled profanities at her and threw cat food all over her yard.

The informant, who called again after deputies’ left, said her neighbor who was the culprit came back and pushed her.

The suspicious person report was made 1:43 p.m. Saturday.

Burglary in progress. 11:01 a.m. Monday. 23500 block Los Adornos. A realtor said they found someone sleeping on a mattress on the floor inside a vacant home they're selling.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 5:50 a.m. Monday. Peppertree and Sprucewood. A caller said two teenage boys that were up on the hillside were rapping and being loud.

Disturbance. 8:48 p.m. Sunday. 100 block Colony Way. A caller asked deputies to check on their neighbors who were arguing after the wife went outside and started doing doughnuts in her white Land Rover.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:45 p.m. Sunday. Aliso Creek Road and Enterprise. A caller asked deputies to check on a large group of kids with video cameras behind Lowes.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:59 a.m. Saturday. Hummingbird Lane and Condor Lane. A caller asked deputies to check for an open luggage container on the side of the road.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 12:58 a.m. Saturday. 22500 block Chase. A caller said two skinny boys, one wearing a black jacket, were looking into parked cars.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:34 p.m. Friday. 0 block Golf Drive. A caller said a man with a ponytail was looking into parked cars.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 5:56 p.m. Friday. 26900 block La Paz Road. A caller said a teenage girl who was loitering in the area, wearing a black shirt and torn sweatpants was asking passersby to take pictures of her.
