The 24-year-old Laguna Hills man suspected in the of his girlfriend is back in Orange County.
Pinski is scheduled to make his first Orange County courtroom appearance Thursday, where he is expected to be arraigned, according to the Orange County District Attorney.
Tang, also 24, was multiple times at approximately 10:30 a.m. Sept. 1 inside Pinski's Laguna Hills residence, where he lived with his mother and a renter.
Tang was discovered by Pinski's mother, who called 911. The 24-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pinski is charged with murder, accompanied by a sentencing enhancement for the alleged personal use of a deadly weapon.
If convicted of the charges, Pinski faces a maximum sentence of life in state prison.
Pinski and Tang reportedly met while enrolled at the University of California, Santa Barbara. At the time of her death, Tang was still living in Santa Barbara and was visiting Pinski in Laguna Hills.
