Police Calls: After Seizure, Woman Stops Breathing

After a woman was stricken with a seizure around 11:30 a.m. Friday, firefighters and police responded to the 27000 block of La Paz Road.

The woman regained her breath soon after.

Here are more Aliso Viejo calls made to the Orange County Sheriff's Department:

Friday

  • A woman reported a client went to Jamaica as part of a scam. The report came at 10:55 a.m.
  • Broken bottles and "tobacco products" were found on the Oak Grove Elementary playground around 10 a.m.
  • Two men were allegedly jumping in front of cars near the Microsemi building around 6 a.m.
  • A man told police "gang members" pulled a knife on him and "want to kill him. He said he was following the suspects in his vehicle around 2:15 a.m. at the 24900 block of Via San Rafael.
Thursday

  • A City Lights resident said a neighbor had been screaming and yelling inside her apartment since 5 a.m. Sunday. The call came around 11:50 p.m.
  • A woman tried to pull property out of a storage unit that didn't belong to her. The storage employee who called police said a woman with red hair in her 50s used a key to remove the items. Police later heard an argument between her and the employee. The call came around 9:30 a.m.
  • A dog left in a car all night had been barking throughout the night, a caller said. The call came from the 22500 block of Chase around 7:15 a.m.
