Disturbance. 8:44 p.m. Thursday. 0 block Evening Light Lane.

Torched scripture. 10:23 a.m. Thursday. 100 block Sandpiper Lane. A resident said a neighbor burned a Bible on the street.

Suspicious sleeping man. 6:08 p.m. Wednesday. 25100 block Hummingbird Lane. A caller asked deputies to check into a scary-looking man wearing a black hat and dark clothing, who was asleep at a nearby park.

Suspicious van. 3:55 p.m. Wednesday. 0 block Endless Vista. A caller said a white van had been following children around the neighborhood for the past three weeks.

Overamplified protester. 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. 1200 block of City Lights Drive. A caller asked deputies to check for someone using a microphone to discuss the Patriot Act.

Suspicious semaphore. 8:50 p.m. Tuesday. 24200 block Hollyoak. A caller said a woman driving a white van was flashing her lights at the caller's residence.

Reckless parking. 3:19 p.m. Tuesday. 100 block Park Avenue. A caller asked deputies to check on parents who wee picking up their schoolchildren but parked across the street, causing their kids to have to run across the road onto oncoming traffic.
