Resident Reports Pregnant Sleepwalker

The following is a selection of calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from April 1 to April 5.

A resident said a pregnant woman with a cast on her arm attempted to open their door and was possibly sleepwalking as she strolled around the neighborhood. She walked between parked cars and in the middle of the street while repeatedly raising her hands in the air.

The call was made around 10:34 p.m., Friday from the 0 block of Los Palos.

Disturbance. 12:44 p.m. Tuesday. Springdale and Autumnglen.

Petty theft. 11:58 a.m. Tuesday. 27000 block of La Paz Road.

Unknown trouble. 1:32 a.m. Tuesday. Enterprise. A caller told police  she was bleeding from her head and didn't know what happened.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 10:47 p.m. Monday. 26500 block of Aliso Creek Road. A caller said a man who bought beer from Trader Joe's sat in his car in the parking lot for more than three hours.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 2:15 a.m. Monday. Dawn Lane.  A caller said subjects riding in a red Volkswagen Jetta were looking in on vehicles parked on the street.

Disturbance. 7:12 p.m. Sunday. Whitewood. A caller said the driver of a dark-colored car drove up to a person at a sidewalk and exchanged something before quickly driving off.

Patrol check. 1:27 p.m. Sunday. 100 block of Montara Drive.  A caller said two skateboarders were making a lot of noise as they jumped off a lamppost.

Citizen assist. 12:38 p.m. Sunday. 28000 block of Wolverine Way.  A caller said a maintenance worker locked her and a friend inside the tennis courts for more than two hours.

Drunk in public. 11:01 p.m. Saturday. Matisse Circle and Glenhurst. A caller reported three underage drinkers by the pool, with one passed out on the ground.

Petty theft. 3:46 p.m. Saturday. 26900 block of La Paz Road. A 71-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft and was placed in custody at Orange County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 4:21 p.m. Saturday. 22700 block of Pacific Park Drive.  A resident said she heard her neighbor yelling, “Help me!” and calling for her daughter after a possible commotion inside the home.

Disturbance. 9:19 p.m. Friday. Windflower. A resident said two to three kids that live in the neighborhood were banging on his door before running off, citing that it was an ongoing problem.
