Sheriff's Blotter: Selected calls from Aliso Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, Aug. 31 - Sept. 4.

Highlights from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department blotter:

Suspicious vehicle. 2:09 a.m. Tuesday. Aliso Creek Road and Westwing.

Disturbance. 12:20 a.m. Tuesday. 25300 block Aliso Creek Road.

Traffic hazard. 10:04 a.m. Monday. Pacific Park Drive and Aliso Creek Road. A caller reported a bumper, license plate and tire in the middle of the road.

Burglary in progress. 3:07 a.m. Monday. 27600 block Aliso Creek Road. The shadow of a male was seen prying at the caller's door.

Prius vs. bird. 11 a.m. Sunday. Glenwood Drive and Moulton Parkway. A Toyota Prius driver said either a vulture or an eagle hit by the car was stuck in the  fender well.

Vandalism in progress. 12:01 a.m. Sunday. 5000 block City Lights Drive. A caller said four males were using rocks to smash car windows at the complex's parking lot.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:48 p.m. Saturday. 0 block Birchmont. A caller said someone shot at him with a BB gun.

Suspicious adult. 2:59 p.m. Saturday. Hummingbird Lane and Starling Lane. A 20something blond man wearing a white shirt and black trousers was reportedly talking to a young boy, after previously being seen talking with children at a nearby park.

Amplified talking. 10:30 a.m. Friday. 1200 block City Lights Drive. A resident said her neighbors were using a microphone to converse with each other and the sound was hurting her ears.

Disturbance. 3:20 a.m. Friday. 23400 block Summerfield. A resident asked deputies to check for kids who were ringing the caller's doorbell for an hour.
